Essential Functions:
Manages all aspects of the Activity Program Supervise, develop, and schedule all Activity staff to include activity assistants Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate Activity department supplies Ensure that activity room/areas are prepared for scheduled activity program Manages proper documentation including completing monthly activity calendar, and all move-in actions related to activities for all residents Perform activities on schedule while maintaining regular atendance and punctuality Promote resident's attendance at events and activities Assist with planning and implementing events and activities Assist with group activities, sing-a-longs, and exercise classes Conduct activity programs as assigned Assist residents with gardening projects Skills:
Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing Activity Schedule Superior interpersonal, coaching, communication, and supervisory at all levels Ability to communicate with ALL residents and staff members to successfully meet the needs of all our residents Team player Job Requirements:
Either a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an Activities Professional who has an Activity Director Certification (ADC) Two (2) years of experience needed in long-term health care; preferred in Activities Pay:
Full-Time Salary Position $45,000-$55,000 depending on experience
